A MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR
Precision Health DPC was established out of frustration due to what I saw as a lack of humanity in healthcare. After over 13 years working in the hospital system, I realized the system in not patient focused but profit focused. Providers are forced to see as many patients as possible as quickly as possible. Medicine is applied via algorithms and pathways, instead of a holistic patient centered approach. Unfortunately, this is our current system of healthcare and the “standard of medicine.” I decided I could no longer participate and became determined to radically change my practice.
Precision Health DPC provides a different type of healthcare, that is free from burdensome administrative barriers, forced medical dictates, and algorithmic medicine. Our goal is to help our patients get healthier by focusing on the whole person, being informed by evidence, and making use of all therapeutic and lifestyle interventions.
